Straight from Business Central.

Ask about overdue sales invoices, aged receivables or the G/L entries on an account. The assistant fetches the data from Business Central when you ask and does the calculations for you.

The assistant can only read

Consile enforces it.

Microsoft has no read-only permission for Business Central, so technically the approval also covers writing. The connector has no write tools, and Consile only sends read requests. We recommend connecting with a user that has read-only rights. An administrator chooses which tools each employee gets.

The connection covers all the environments and companies in your Microsoft tenant that the connected user has access to. The assistant picks the company for each question and uses Production unless you ask for another environment. If you have several Microsoft tenants, an administrator adds a portal with its own address.

The assistant cannot create, change or post anything in Business Central and does not fetch PDFs. Only standard data in Business Central online can be read, not your own API pages, data from extensions or on-premises installations. There are no ready-made reports yet, so larger statements may take several lookups.

How to get started

5 steps from account to first answer, without code or consultants.

  1. 01 Buy the connector

    An administrator adds Business Central in the Consile portal. The first 7 days are free.

  2. 02 Connect Business Central

    Log in with a Microsoft work account that has access to Business Central, and approve Consile with Microsoft. We recommend a user with read-only rights.

  3. 03 Choose access

    Give colleagues access under Team, and choose all tools or exactly the ones each person needs.

  4. 04 Add it to your AI assistant

    Add the address from the portal as a connector in, for example, Claude or ChatGPT.

  5. 05 Ask the first question

    For example, ask which companies you have in Business Central. That shows you which companies the assistant can read.

Questions about Business Central

What can the assistant do in Business Central today?

It can only read. The connector is in early access and has 5 tools that find your environments and companies and read Business Central’s standard data. It cannot create, change or post anything. There are no ready-made reports yet, so larger statements may take several lookups. More read tools are on the way.

Can we choose which tools an employee gets?

Yes. Under Team, an administrator chooses None, All tools or Custom for each employee. With Custom, you pick exactly the tools that person needs. The price is the same whatever you choose. New tools stay off until an administrator activates them on the connector’s page.

What do we need to connect?

Business Central online and a Microsoft work or school account with a Business Central license and access to the companies the assistant should read. Microsoft has no read-only permission, so technically the approval also covers writing. Consile only sends read requests, but we recommend connecting with a user that has read-only rights. The connection applies to the whole company, so colleagues do not need to connect again.

Does it work with several companies?

Yes. One connection covers all the environments and companies in your Microsoft tenant that the connected user has access to. The assistant picks the company for each question and uses Production unless you ask for another environment. If you have Business Central in several Microsoft tenants, an administrator adds an extra portal for DKK 224.50/month (approx. EUR 30). It gets its own address in your AI assistant.

What does it cost?

DKK 449/month (approx. EUR 60) excl. VAT for 1 user and 1 Microsoft tenant. Each extra user or extra portal costs DKK 224.50/month (approx. EUR 30). Business Central is billed in DKK only. The first 7 days are free, and there is no commitment.

Can we cancel?

Yes. Disconnect the connector in the portal, and Consile’s stored access is deleted immediately. Consile cannot revoke the approval with Microsoft, so your Microsoft administrator removes it under Enterprise apps in the Microsoft Entra admin center. To stop payment, an administrator cancels the subscription, which then runs to the end of the period.
